This facility provides before school programs for middle school youth and open recreation programming for youth in middle school and high school. Transportation is provided on post by the youth shuttle for grades 6th – 12th in all housing areas

Friday Midnight Basketball starts August 3, 2012
Middle school teens court time: 6-9 p.m.
High school teens court time: 9 p.m.-midnight
Must have valid school ID to attend either session.

Middle School Summer Camp
Each week of Summer Camp is planned around a theme. Each week will include opportunities for campers to participate in arts and crafts activities, cooking, athletics, video gaming, technology and a variety of other exciting activities. Each Friday we will include a special “Minute To Win It” competition where campers will compete in wacky test of skills. In addition, each week has one or more exciting additional activities planned around the theme.

Open Recreation Field trips
If you’re a Youth Center Member you’re welcome to attend these field trips that are available for everyone. The Youth Center will provide the transportation; youth are responsible for the price of admission and all other expenses. Parent permission required.

EDGE Adventure Program
FREE extra curriculum classes for ages 11-18 in the following areas: Art, Fitness, Life and Adventure.
Classes will be offered after school during four-week sessions, Monday-Friday, 4-6 p.m.
All participating children must be enrolled with the Fort Carson CYSS. For more information call (719) 526-1101 or (719) 524-1472.

HIRED! Apprenticeship Program
Are you concerned how well prepared your teenager is to enter the current workforce? Enroll them in the HIRED! Program!
HIRED! is a apprenticeship and workforce-preparation program designed to meet the career-exploration needs of teens, ages 15-18. Teens are placed at site around Fort Carson, such as Outdoor Recreation, Physical Fitness Centers, Child Development Centers, Aquatic Centers, Bowling, just to name a few. Spaces are limited so sign up today!
