Mobilization and Deployment Support

Any changes in Outreach Benefits will be given to your unit’s Family Readiness Support Assistant (FRSA).  Army Family Covenant Benefits are subject to change.

Caring Day (FREE Childcare)

Spouses of deployed soldiers receive 16 free hours of respite care per child, per month depending on availability.  Child Care in support of respite care during the weekday will be provided at the Southwest Center, Building 7790, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Respite Care on Saturday will be provided at the East or West Child Development Center, Building 6058 or 6060, during a selected time block of noon to 4 p.m., 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., or 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (719) 524-4218. Reservations for Friday Date Night and Saturday have a deadline of 3 p.m. the Wednesday prior to care. The generic email address for reservations is carsdeployedchildcare@conus.army.mil.

FRG Childcare Support:

Child care for Family Readiness Group meetings held during the weekday will be provided at the Southwest Center, Building 7790 or at the Family Readiness Center, Building 6237 depending on the location of your meeting. Your BDE FRSA will be responsible for reserving child care.

Reunion Care:

Free child care will be provided if the spouse attends reunion/reintegration training with the Soldier. Child care is in addition to the 16 hours of respite care available until 90 days after the last main body of the unit returns.

SKIES Unlimited Classes (FREE up to $300):

Children of a deployed parent ages 2 – 18 years are eligible for up to $300 of instructional courses. You must be registered with CYSS to receive this benefit. Please check your CYSS Fact Sheet for further details.

CYSS Sports (FREE up to $100):

Children of a deployed parent ages 3 – 18 years are eligible for up to $100 of team or individual sports.  You must be registered with CYSS to receive this benefit.Tweet
