Youth Fishing Derby for ages 3-15 on May 7 Each year Fort Carson has a long standing tradition of producing some amazing fishing contests! This year is sure to be no exception as we continue to grow in sponsorship and overall number of participants. In previous years, thousands of dollars in cash and prizes have been awarded to top placers in either age categories (youth derby) or over all weight of certain species such as trout. Harlem Ambassadors Basketball Show on 23 April Come join us for a fun filled night with the Harlem Ambassadors Basketball Show, which is part of the Month of the Military Child festivities, on 23 April at the Fort Carson Special Events Center! The Harlem Ambassadors deliver a quality basketball show to audiences throughout the United States and internationally. The show is fun for customers of all ages, with youngsters being awed for the first time and older folks enjoying the tried-and-true gags like a rerun of a favorite comedy movie.
