MOUNTAIN BIKING

  • Bicycle Maintenance Class:

No matter what kind of bike you have, it needs to be maintained.  You will learn how to change tires, fix flats, adjust brakes and derailleurs, and true wheels.Dates: October 25th  Time:   5 – 8 p.m.

Cost:  $20 includes book

 

  • How to Mountain Bike: 

“It’s just like riding a bike.”  How many times have you heard that?  We know there is a little more to it and we’re here to help.  Learn the skills that will take you from the sidewalk to the single track.  Learn to handle obstacles, steep hills, drop offs, and much more.  We will ride from the Outdoor Recreation building to Cheyenne Mountain State park and hit the trails.Dates:  October 20th     November 13th   April 18th    May 24thTime: 5  – 7:30 p.m.

Cost:  $30 with bike rental / $25 w/o bike rental 

  • Pueblo Reservoir Mountain Bike Ride

Recommended Prerequisite: How to Mountain Bike)Join us for a day of riding down at the Pueblo Reservoir.  There is a wide variety of trails down at the reservoir, from smooth single track to free ride trails.  The unique desert environment makes for great riding.Date: June TBA         

Time: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Cost: $40 with bike rental / $35 w/o bike rental
